This medicine works by reducing the effects of a chemical in the body that causes fever. Aspimed is also used to relieve pain associated with inflammation or long-lasting degeneration of joints caused by osteoarthritis. It is also used to reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke in patients who have a history of heart disease or stroke associated symptoms.
